Wed Eves 7 – 8:45 PM Yoga Balm for Backs at Shaganappi


Drawing from the work of a variety of yoga therapy models, this class will increase awareness of problematic tendencies, release chronically-held areas, tone and teach recruitment of stabilizers, and increase mobility of the shoulders and hips. Not intended for those suffering from acute back issues (a private session is suggested), but rather, for people whose back discomfort / pain tends to be in the background most of the time and occasionally flares up. Private 1 1/2-hour assessment is recommended if you have not had one recently or if your health status has changed significantly.


To register,

  1. complete the Par-Q and satisfy yourself that you are a fit and healthy individual.
  2. complete the paper registration form with pen and paper after contacting Lonnie who will email it to you and you print it off and then deliver via scan and email, fax, mail or hand delivery.
  3. make payment. Contact Lonnie if you want to arrange a pro-ration or you would like a multi-class discount.  You have the option to pay by cash, cheque, e-transfer or PayPal (credit card or PayPal account).  See paper registration form for more info about how to pay by these methods.  If you’d like to pay through credit card or PayPal and you are a frequent PayPal user, make a payment to using your account.  If not and you’d like to pay by PayPal or credit card, ask Lonnie to send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay online.
